The beginning of summer in Franken doesn’t only mean hot temperatures and sunny weather, it also means beer festivals! Every city in the area has its own traditional festival where, for a few days, locals and visitors from nearby towns come together to enjoy beer, food, and great music.
This week, the Erlangen Beer Festival (Bergkirchweih) is taking place and we’re not missing it! After all, it’s the oldest beer festival in the world. 🍺
The plan: meet at Bamberg train station and take the train together to Erlangen, where we’ll kick things off with a little pre-drinking provided by us before heading into the festival. Once inside, we’ll find a table and get the party started!
