The most beautiful place you have ever been to:
This is hard to tell but a place that needs to be on every bucket list is Rome. The city isn’t comparable to anything you have seen before, walking the streets of ancient Rome feels like time traveling. Furthermore I lost my heart in Finish Lapland, a region that feels like home to me with its forests and lakes. And if you want to travel further than Europe, give Sumatra a try – the jungle and lake Toba are mind-blowing
Why did you join AEGEE and what does AEGEE mean to you:
I have always been interested in other cultures and saw AEGEE as a way to connect with other students internationally. Over the years AEGEE has become very important to me, the organisation itself and the work I have done inside of the association have broadened my horizons and shaped my European identity. Without the incredibly great events and the AEGEEans, among whom I have found real friends, my university years would not have been the same.
Your most beautiful AEGEE-moment:
There are two:
(1) For sure my first international event organised by AEGEE-Torino and AEGEE-Cagliari. It was the best Summer University I’ve ever seen, I had three amazing weeks in Italy and I found friends for life (and in the years after they even brought me through lonely lockdown times)
(2) Sitting in a small restaurant in Bosnia and Herzegowina and sharing a huge cheese and meat plate with Niklas, one of my best friends and the previous president of AEGEE-Bamberg, right before the Agora in Novi Sad, Serbia

The most beautiful place you have ever been to:
Definitely „Cinque Terre“ in Italy! However, surfing in Portugal is on number one of my bucket list at the moment. 😀
Why did you join AEGEE and what does AEGEE mean to you:
As soon as you finish your Erasmus, you actually want to do another one. When I returned to Germany after my Erasmus experience, AEGEE was a way for me to still be able to feel the Erasmus spirit. Additionally, to me AEGEE means to also enable other people to have an intercultural experience and to provide international students with everything they need to enjoy their stay in our beautiful Bamberg.
Your most beautiful AEGEE-moment:
Certainly, when I received the confirmation to become part of the board of AEGEE-Bamberg. Furthermore, I really enjoyed my first European Event, the Spring Agora in Novi-Sad and I am looking forward to similar experiences soon to come!

The most beautiful place you have ever been to:
Barcelona! I was able to spend my Erasmus semester there and the city has all the amenities you need while also looking super beautiful (and provides you with mostly good weather).
Why did you join AEGEE and what does AEGEE mean to you:
I am loving intercultural exchange and getting to know new people, all of which is offered by AEGEE. AEGEE, therefore, means to me having a sense of community and belonging with people from different cultures.
Your most beautiful AEGEE-moment:
The LTC after I joined AEGEE in 2019 because it was my first AEGEE event and I directly felt included into the group of the wonderful people at AEGEE-Bamberg.

The most beautiful place you have ever been to:
The most beautiful place I have been to is definitely Norway. I absolutely love the landscape and the pure nature. The only downside is that my bank account is always empty after coming back from there.
Why did you join AEGEE and what does AEGEE mean to you:
Initially, after finishing school, I wanted to go to travel South America. After I had to cancel this trip because of the pandemic, I was therefore looking for a good alternative to travel and meet new people from other countries. After hearing of AEGEE I instantly joined and I am super happy now to be a part of it and have the opportunity to meet so many great people. This organization and the people really made me grow and I’m happy to support and spread the European spirit now as a board member.
Your most beautiful AEGEE-moment:
I didn’t have the opportunity to go to an international event myself yet. Apart from the fact that this is pretty sad, I still met a lot of AEGEEans on our SU in Bamberg. Especially the European Night was super fun. I’m definitely looking forward to experiencing some more great AEGEE related events in the future.
